Katie Moberly - PulsePointe barre Master Trainer
Katie discovered her love for Pilates and barre in the spring of 2014. After several months of grueling marathon training, combined with weekend soccer games, Katie found that running was simply becoming too difficult on her knees. She needed a healthy and enjoyable alternative. Barre and Pilates proved to be a perfect complement to her other activities and much kinder on her joints. It also vastly improved her core and arm strength. Most of all, it made her feel good! The PulsePointe barre technique made each class fun and challenging. She was quickly hooked and pursued certifications to not only teach group fitness classes herself, but also train others in the PulsePointe barre method.
In addition to being a PulsePointe Master Trainer, Katie teaches classes at GreatLIFE in Sioux Falls, SD. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, certifications for PulsePointe barre and Power Pilates Core Mat I & II, and is a certified Group Fitness Instructor through ACE and AFAA.
Shannen Miller - PulsePointe barre Master Trainer
Shannen unlocked her passion for fitness as a freshman at Texas A&M University. Determined to pursue a healthy lifestyle while in college, she became heavily involved in the group fitness program offered at the Student Recreation Center. The following spring, Shannen began her fitness journey. After joining the Texas A&M Group Fitness Team, Shannen began teaching step, dance fitness, kickbox, and HIIT classes. One year of teaching high impact classes several times per week took a toll on her body, and she quickly realized that she needed to add low impact formats into her repertoire.
Shannen's first adventure into Mind/Body fitness was yoga followed quickly by barre. She appreciated the elegance and intensity a barre workout could provide while still remaining low impact. After obtaining a barre certification she began to teach, but felt like there was still something missing from her classes. She had been teaching barre for three years when she first experienced a PulsePointe barre class. Shannen fell in love with the energy and freestyle choreography of PulsePointe barre, and realized it was exactly what she had been looking for. During her time in the fitness industry, Shannen has received certifications through PulsePointe barre, YogaFit, Schwinn Cycling, Peak Pilates, AFAA, and ACE.
In addition to being a PulsePointe barre Master Trainer, Shannen assists in running the Texas A&M group fitness program, teaches multiple group fitness classes per week, oversees the hiring and training of all new group fitness instructors at her facility, and is pursuing her M.Ed. in ESL Education. When she isn’t pursuing a new fitness endeavor, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling the world.

Daria Lotocky - PulsePointe barre Master Trainer
Daria has loved to dance for as long as she can remember, although, it wasn’t until she arrived at college that she discovered her passion for fitness. In her sophomore year, she joined the Group Fitness team at Florida State University and has been teaching group exercise ever since. Her favorite formats were dance classes, until she took her first barre class. In that first barre class, Daria experienced the perfect way for her to blend her passion for fitness and encouraging healthy lifestyles, and her life-long love of dance and movement.
After graduating from FSU, Daria decided to further her education and pursue her Master’s degree in Applied Exercise Physiology at the University of Central Florida where she helps run the group fitness and wellness programs. While at UCF, Daria took her first PulsePointe Barre workshop and knew that this was the form of barre she wanted to teach. The inclusiveness and flow of PulsePointe, allowed her to be creative while still giving anyone, regardless of their prior dance experience, an effective and fun workout.
In addition to her PulsePointe Barre certification, Daria also holds a Group Fitness certifications from both AFAA and ACE, and is certified through Madd Dogg Spinning®. When she isn’t teaching group fitness classes, she loves to spend time with her family and read fiction novels.
